Meet Dr. Amanda

Dr. Amanda Budiman, known affectionately as Dr. Amanda, grew up with a dentist father and was exposed to dentistry at an early age. As a result, she has always been interested in the dental field. Having braces as a teen and seeing her own smile transformation inspired her to become an orthodontist.

She graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BS degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and subsequently obtained her DDS from New York University. She returned home to California to complete her residency in Orthodontics and received her M.S. in Craniofacial Biology from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Amanda is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and a published author in the Journal of Dental Research and the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and California Dental Association.

When not at work, Dr. Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their labradoodle. She loves crocheting and is an avid tennis player, snowboarder and paddleboarder. Fun fact about Dr. Amanda: in high school she was on the synchronized swimming team! At Jenkins Orthodontics, Dr. Amanda is excited to bring great smiles to patients of all ages.
