Meet Dr. Hodgson

Cara Hodgson“What I love most about my job are the relationships I build with my patients and their families. There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing my patients transformed into more confident, happier versions of themselves. Being trilingual has allowed me to treat patients from all different backgrounds and cultures and meet so many patients from all over the world. I love exchanging stories and getting to know each and every one of my patients on a personal level.”

Dr. Cara Hodgson graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from University of California at Berkeley. She then attended UCLA for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, where she was awarded the Dean's Scholarship. While in dental school she traveled to Nicaragua where she helped set up a mobile clinic and assisted in dental care of children and adults in impoverished communities. Her experience as a high school language teacher confirmed her passion for working with kids and young adults. She went on to complete her Master's Degree and certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Loma Linda University, where she was one of the top graduates in her class.

Dr. Hodgson is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Dental Association and the American Association of Women Dentists.

A proud resident of Rancho Cucamonga, Dr. Hodgson enjoys all that the Inland Empire has to offer. She is also an accomplished pianist, an avid swimmer and loves all things outdoors, including hiking with her husband Rob and paddle boarding with her two rescue pups, Kona and Lei Lei!
